InfyTQ Exam Preparation Strategy | Batch-2022

InfyTQ Examination is around the corner and many of you must be wondering how to prepare for it in this short span of time.

In this article, we will be sharing a detailed strategy on preparation for both codings as well as the Interview round.

INFYTQ ROUND 1

First-round is the screening round/Qualifier round. The exam consists of

40 MCQs based on Python/Java, DBMS, and Aptitude.

INFYTQ ROUND 2

Time: 3 Hours

Sections:

1.2 MCQs based on Java/ Python Programming, Data Structures & Algorithms, OOPs Concepts, DBMS & SQL

2.2 Coding Questions using Java/ Python

For Round 2 your coding skills need to be good as coding covers 60% of the marks. If you are able to solve both the coding questions you get 60% and the minimum qualification mark is 65%.

You need to score at least 65% marks in this round to be eligible for the InfyTQ certification. After clearing this round you will get an interview from Infosys. This year it was conducted virtually.

UPGRADATION ROUND AND INTERVIEW

After you clear the final round you are offered an interview for the role of Systems Engineer which is HR based. You get an “Infosys Certified Software Programmer” certificate. After you clear the coding round you are also eligible for upgradation roles which are offered via the upgradation exam.

InfyTQ Upgradation test is a 180 minutes online exam that gives a good opportunity for anyone who has got some serious coding skills. I

You can upgrade your package from SE to SES (package — 5 LPA) or even PP role (package — 8 LPA). Basically, this exam has three coding problems — that will test your hold on data structures and algorithms. All three problems will be based on either of the following techniques: dynamic programming, greedy, divide and conquer. All three problems expect you to code the most optimized solution.

Based on your performance in the Hackwith Infy coding round you will be called for either SES(Systems Engineer Specialist) or PP(Power Programmer) role.

For the interview you need to prepare the following subjects:

1 . Core CS Subjects

Computer Networking, Operating Systems, DBMS, Computer Architecture Basics and OOPS.

2.Coding

• Dynamic Programming
• Greedy Algorithms
• Backtracking
• Stack
• Queue
• Mapping Concepts
• Array manipulation
• String manipulation
• Tree
• Graph
• Bit Mapping and Hashing
• Recursion and Heap
• Divide and Conquer

For Power Programmers(8 LPA), they ask advanced concepts like the implementation of AVL tree as compared to SES(5 LPA).

3.Prepare your Resume well and be specially prepared for questions related to your Project.
